Spirit week accompanies each annual homecoming week and began on Friday, Oct. 5 with Disney Day due to the beach district’s first ever Virtual Learning Day.

Spirit days that follow: Tacky Tourist Tuesday, U.S.A. Wednesday, Jersey Day Thursday, and Pink Out Friday in honor of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Decorations filled the halls for homecoming week, and according to English teacher Alexis Jones, one of her favorite decorations was the “Little Mermaid” display.
