Girls tennis holds off Granby at home match
Sophomore and number one ranked player Andrea Ayala serves during her singles match at Ocean Lakes High School on March 25.
Girls tennis showed promise as they won 3-2 against Granby High School just before their match was postponed due to inclement weather.
The girls played their first match of the spring season at home, which helped raise new energy and morale.
“With the rain coming, we were trying to finish early, and we got in our heads a little; this was our first game, so I think we are doing pretty well so far,” said junior Isabelle Weiss.
The game will be continued on a date not yet determined.
