Tameya Norton, Staff Writer
Tameya Norton is a sophomore and a first-year journalism student. Tameya plays volleyball, soccer and outside of school she plays volleyball for Club757. If Tameya is not at school or practice, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going on bike rides, writing and she loves to meet new people. In the future, Tameya hopes to be a journalist at Virginia Tech and write articles on top athletes and celebrities.
Kayla Carter, Staff Writer
Kayla Carter is a sophomore and a first-year journalist for The Current. She enjoys sports, the beach and hanging out with her friends and family. Kayla plays volleyball and JV soccer for Ocean Lakes, along with club volleyball outside of school. She is excited to learn more about journalism and hopes to continue it throughout high school.
