Boys volleyball prepares to improve their performance as the preseason comes to an end, despite their first loss against Grassfield High 3-2.
“Since the team lost many seniors this year, we’ve had [many] guys step up and lead,” said senior Kaden Pratt. “I’m proud of the work and effort everyone has put in so far.”
Seniors Gavin Juhas and David Suiter predominantly kept the team optimistic through their strong communication skills and defensive efforts, according to Kaden. The team plans to improve these skills as they prepare for more upcoming games.
“I think the team was just shaking the nerves off from the first game,” said Kaden. “We must keep our heads up and move forward.”
