Finishing against Landstown with a score of 500 to 230 in their most recent home game, the Scholastic Bowl team continues their undefeated season.

This year’s varsity team includes juniors Justine Singleton and Noah Siraj, seniors James Palmiere, Alex Sarchet, Duncan Campbell, and captain Calvin Cummings. The team is coached by Brooke Thompson.

“Calvin is the captain, so he’s the main leader,” said junior Noah Siraj. “Him and Duncan usually put up the most points. They answer the most questions and push the team during practices.”

The team holds a record of 6-0-0 after the first six matches of the 2018-2019 season and leads the Beach District with an overall score of 18 points. With their current record, the team plans to have a strong season.

“We placed second in the region last year and expect on getting first this year,” said Noah.
