Lauren Nery, Editor-in-Chief

Lauren Nery was a senior and the editor in chief of the student newspaper for the 2017-2018 school year. She was a four-year journalist and plans to head to George Mason University next fall. During her freshman year, she spent her study block in the newsroom which developed her passion for writing. After attend JMU’s jcamp, she dedicated much vision and time to develop the website for Ocean Lakes’ first online newspaper  website, olhscurrent.org.
